Twill Fabrics

The most commonly used pattern for carbon fiber is the 2/2 twill (ribbed). This pattern is looser than plain weaves, so when laminating onto molds with curves and contours, it is easier to fold and bend. Its loose weave pattern requires more careful handling during application compared to plain weave.
